What to expect when you work with me

Planning a ceremony should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
I’ve got a clear, relaxed process in place so you know what’s coming, and you can focus on the moments that matter most.

  • We’ll start with a free 20-minute video call — no pressure, just a chance to meet, hear a bit of your story, and see if we’re a good fit.
    If everything feels right, I’ll send over a proposal and hold your date for one week. Once your deposit is in, you’re officially booked!

  • This part is my favourite!

    You’ll fill out a short form to help me get to know your story, your style, and what matters most to you.

    We’ll meet twice before the big day: once to start shaping the ceremony together, and again closer to your wedding to check in, answer questions, and make sure you feel good about everything we’ve prepared.

  • I’ll arrive about an hour before your ceremony to check in with your vendors, do a mic check, gather your vows and license, and make sure everything’s ready to go.

    Then it’s go time! I’ll guide your ceremony with purpose and heart, so you can focus on being fully present.

    Afterward, I’ll handle the paperwork, deliver your Record of Solemnization, and give you space to celebrate.

  • I’ll take care of sending your marriage license to the Ontario Registrar and email you with everything you need to apply for your official marriage certificate.

    Most wedding ceremonies last between 15 and 25 minutes depending on the style, readings, vows, and special elements included. Many couples prefer shorter ceremonies that feel engaging, emotional, and memorable without dragging on.  Personally, I tend to shoot for the 19-23 minute mark.
